About Us

She was working in an art gallery 50 metres away. He was running this restaurant called La Blainvillaise, when she walked in. He tried to impress her with his French culinary art and his joie de vivre. For the following year they learnt about each other and their love for the simplicities of life. It was here that they fell in love.

In the middle of August on a very rainy day they decided to close the restaurant to create somewhere where their love for art, relaxed social atmosphere and passion for creativity will hopefully flourish. So they decided to open an art gallery with a difference.

After a mad few weeks of finding the right artists for what they want to create, they couldn’t be more certain that it was the right move for their life. The artists they met were so enthusiastic about their idea that there was no going back on their decision.

The gallery opened it's doors on Sunday 24th October, 2004

Now we’ll stop boring you and let us tell you briefly about the gallery.
The gallery will works on the basis of monthly showing of artists work, with a frequent introduction of new pieces. The range of work exhibited includes paintings, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, wood, textiles and everything that is beautiful and made with love (you know what we mean J). A studio has been created, where visitors can see artists working on site. And of course the bar remains open enabling a relaxed and laid back feeling (winemaking is an art in itself).
